Anyone who takes on entrepreneurship should strive to have a forward thinking team. Not everyone can shed enough light on a problem to solve it, and every business has daily problems. We understand.
The success of a brewery can be measured in different ways: sales, profit, exposure, or the best tasting beer.
All brewery owners have different motivation for getting into the business. For some, it’s sharing a talent for making great beer. For others, it’s building a business and creating revenue. What they have in common is the need to be unique. Whether it’s creating an amazing marijuana infused IPA or selling cans for a buck a beer, every brewery has to forge its own path.
How we can help you become the most successful Brewery in Canada
We can help.
We will help.
And here’s why:
We don’t just make tap handles. We help solve problems.
What’s the problem?
Problem solvers are few and far between. Too many people stick to the box and can only see the four inner corners. We look at the box from the inside, crawl outside, examine it, throw it around, experiment with it, and redesign it.
Problems often stare us straight in the face, but we still cannot see them for looking. Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results is not the definition of insanity - but it is poor business practice! It often takes someone else looking in, sharing their view, and inputting their expertise. This is what we do. We help you with a problem that you may not have even realized was a problem.
My problem is: I want to sell more beer. What are you selling me that I can’t get anywhere else?
We invent new, engaging marketing ideas and products no one has seen before. We are either travelling the world seeking new ideas, or we are in our state of the art studio shop making entirely new products our customers dream of but don’t know how to produce.
Tap handles are fun, they are necessary, they are fantastic advertising (as we discussed in this blog: What makes a great beer tap handle). They require a certain amount of knowledge and talent to design and produce. There are other sales necessities and items such as coasters, keg collars, etc. that require little knowledge and talent to reproduce.
But what is it that you really need?
Has a salesperson sold you something new that you haven’t already seen?
At Wylie Jack, we don’t have salespeople. We tried one once - and discovered that problem solvers don’t need salespeople. Our ideas and our work will speak for themselves. Plus, no one needs or wants a commission based, high pressure pusher taking up valuable time selling something you’ve seen before.
We relate because we are also entrepreneurs.
Owning a business is hard work, and trying to grow it increases the difficulty. When investing money into that business, you require the biggest bang for your buck. You want to invest in people that understand the issue. You want to hire people that take initiative. You want to employ people that think; that aren’t there just to make a wage. You want to retain talent, not staff.
We value your time as much as we value our own. Thanks for taking the time to read this!
